Aloo Jeera / Potato Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 Medium Sized boiled Potato
- 1 Chopped green chili
- 1 tbsp Chopped ginger (1 tbsp = 14-15 gm )
- 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves ( 1 cup = 240 ml )
- 2-3 tbsp Jeera/ Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder (1 tsp = 4-5 gm )
- 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1 tbsp Jeera powder
- 1 tsp Garam masala powder
- 1 tbsp Amchur powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil
Instructions
- • Boil the potato and cut into pieces.• Roast 1 tbsp Jeera on low flame.• Crush the roasted Jeera.• Put 2 tbsp oil in a pan.• Then put Jeera/ cumin seeds, green chili, chopped ginger, and turmeric powder. Allow it to splutter.• Now add potato into it.• Add salt, red chili, coriander powder, Garam masala powder, amchur powder, and fried Jeera powder.• Mix it well and cover it on low flame for 1 minute.• Put ½ cup chopped coriander leaves. Mix it.• Now sprinkle leftover cumin powder on top it. It will give a nice flavor.• Serve hot Jeera Aloo with any Paratha or chapati.

Boil the potato and cut into pieces.
Roast 1 tbsp Jeera on low flame.
Crush the roasted Jeera.
Put 2 tbsp oil in a pan.
