Navaratan pulao is an Indian main course recipe which is very popular. This is one of the best options in veg recipes for lunch. Navratan Pulao Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup Basmati Rice (1 cup = 240 ml )
- 100 gm Paneer
- 1 medium size potato
- 1 small chopped Carrot
- 4 chopped Beans
- 1/4 cup Boiled Peas
- 6-7 Cashew nut
- 5-6 Almond
- 9-10 Raisins
- 1 Tej Patta
- 2-3 Cloves
- 2-3 Cardamom
- 2-3 Pepper
- 1 small Dalchini
- 2-3 tbsp Ghee (1 tbsp = 14-15 gm )
- Salt (As per taste)
Instructions
- • Take rice in a bowl and soak it for 30 minutes.• To boil the rice, take 4 cup water in a vessel. Put salt and oil in it. • Now add rice. We will not cook rice fully. Cook rice up to 70%.• When the rice gets cooked up to 70%, then drain out water from it.• Take a pan, and put 2-3 tbsp ghee in it.• After heating ghee, add cashews, almonds, and raisins. Fry it.• Now we will fry Paneer on medium flame till it turns into golden brown.• Next, add potato. Fry it, till it turns into golden brown.• Next, fry carrot, peas, and beans. • Now add ghee as per requirement.• Add Tej Patta, crushed Cardamom, Cloves, Black Pepper, Dalchini. Fry them.• Add soaked rice now. Put salt as per taste, and 1-2 tbsp lemon juice.• Put all the fried ingredients, and mix them well.• Now Navratan Pulao is ready to serve.

- Cut Paneer and Potato in Cube shape.
