Ingredients
- 2 cup whole wheat flour (atta)
- 250 gm Spinach / Palak ( 1 bunch Spinach )
- 1 green chili
- 1 small piece chopped Ginger
- 5 cloves
- 1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) ( 1tsp = 4-5 gm )
- 1 tsp Ajwain/ Carom seeds
- Salt to test
- Ghee or Oil ( for frying )

- Instructions For Making Palak Paratha• Take 1 bunch of Palak in a bowl and wash the Palak/spinach very well.• Take one strainer and completely drain the water from palak.• Put 1 tsp of oil in a Pan, and then add Palak to it.• Add ½ tsp salt and fry it slightly.• Now shift the Fried Palak into the blending jar.• Put 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 small piece chopped ginger, 4 garlic cloves, and 1 green chili,• Grind them all & make a smooth paste.• Now in a bowl take 2 cups of atta.• Add 1tsp Ajwain, 1tsp salt, and 1 tbsp oil into it. Mix it well.• Pour the Palak paste now. Mix it well.• Now make a soft dough by adding lukewarm water little at a time.• When your dough is ready, apply some oil in your palm and spread it all over on top of dough.• Cover the dough for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes you will see the dough become swell and soft.• Now make small balls from dough in oily hand.• Roll this ball into a small round and apply oil. Again fold it twice and make a triangular shape by using flour and oil.• Take a hot tava and put paratha on it.• Apply oil on both sides of paratha and roast on medium flame till it turns in to the golden brown.• Now palak paratha is ready to serve with any pickle, curd or any vegetable curry.
