Ingredients

  • 1 cup Basmati Rice (1 cup = 240 ml )
  • 100 gm Paneer
  • 1 medium size potato
  • 1 small chopped Carrot
  • 4 chopped Beans
  • 1/4 cup Boiled Peas
  • 6-7 Cashew nut
  • 5-6 Almond
  • 9-10 Raisins
  • 1 Tej Patta
  • 2-3 Cloves
  • 2-3 Cardamom
  • 2-3 Pepper
  • 1 small Dalchini
  • 2-3 tbsp Ghee (1 tbsp = 14-15 gm )
  • Salt (As per taste)

Instructions

  • • Take rice in a bowl and soak it for 30 minutes.
    • To boil the rice, take 4 cup water in a vessel. Put salt and oil in it.
    • Now add rice. We will not cook rice fully. Cook rice up to 70%.
    • When the rice gets cooked up to 70%, then drain out water from it.
    • Take a pan, and put 2-3 tbsp ghee in it.
    • After heating ghee, add cashews, almonds, and raisins. Fry it.
    • Now we will fry Paneer on medium flame till it turns into golden brown.
    • Next, add potato. Fry it, till it turns into golden brown.
    • Next, fry carrot, peas, and beans.
    • Now add ghee as per requirement.
    • Add Tej Patta, crushed Cardamom, Cloves, Black Pepper, Dalchini. Fry them.
    • Add soaked rice now. Put salt as per taste, and 1-2 tbsp lemon juice.
    • Put all the fried ingredients, and mix them well.
    • Now Navratan Pulao is ready to serve.

Notes

  • Cut Paneer and Potato in Cube shape.
